SATURDAY, JANUARY 9TH 2:00 P.M. TO 5:00 P.M.
VIRTUAL RATE: $100 (+ $2.00 service charge)
The audition class will focus on preparing students for their Dreyfoos theater audition. It will be based on the current audition criteria. This will include acting exercises, theater games, prepared monologues, taking direction, creating a character vocally and physically, making character choices, voice and diction and being comfortable throughout the virtual audition process. The class will culminate in a mock audition.
TUESDAY 6:00pm – 7:30pm (6/ Week Class)

Come join Ms. Brooke each week for a class built for Broadway! Musical Theatre Jazz will focus on learning proper dance technique while exploring the various dance styles used in Broadway shows such as Mean Girls, Beetlejuice, Hairspray, Hamilton, Chicago and more. Using a variety of music, students will train in flexibility, rhythm, and control incorporating the basic principles of jazz styles. The class curriculum is based on ballet technique layered with Broadway style jazz movement and includes a proper warm-up, stretches, isolations, across-the-floor progressions, and a variety of Broadway styled combinations.
Emphasis will also be placed on learning performance skills such as connecting with the audience and telling a story through dance and facial expressions. All skill levels are welcome! This high-energy class will prepare any dancer for the bright lights of Broadway!
TUESDAY 6:30pm – 8:00pm (6/ Week Class)
VIRTUAL RATE: $140 (+ $2.00 service charge)
The adult class will focus on creating monologues and scenes through believable characters. We will begin with a strong foundation of the basic tenets of traditional acting methods. The class will include theater exercises, voice and diction work, script analysis and creating a character
physically and emotionally.

Calling all dancing moms, new college students, entertainment professionals, and at home dancers! Whether the last time you danced was 10 years ago, 2 months ago, or you just want to keep up your technique, this Adult class is for you! Adult Musical Theatre Jazz with Ms. Brooke, will focus on learning proper dance technique while exploring the various dance styles used in Broadway shows such as Mean Girls, Beetlejuice, Hairspray, Hamilton, Chicago and more. The class curriculum is based on ballet technique layered with Broadway style jazz movement and includes a proper warm-up, stretches, isolations, across-the-floor progressions, and a variety of Broadway styled combinations. Don’t be shy or nervous because ALL levels are welcome! The class is structured to cover all dance levels by teaching and reviewing flexibility, rhythm, and control through basic technique as well working on advanced audition skills like choreography memorization and overall performance quality. There will also be a mock audition class during our 6 weeks where you will get to go through the process of an open dance call and experience what that is like first hand. Since we know how busy life can be, there is a drop-in class option as well. The class will be structured so those who join us every week will progress in skills and knowledge and those dropping in won’t feel they are behind. So, come join us and get back to dancing again!

Study the fundamentals of improvisation through exercises that help to develop
strong ensemble and character work. Develop stage presence, patience, self confidence, good communication skills, and a respect for other performers and their creativity We’ll learn about timing, story structure, building character, and more improv games than you can shake a stick at. We’ll work on the rules and strategies for making the games as fun as possible both for the improvisor and the audience. This class will be a fun and supportive environment for kids to start focusing on what makes improv work.
