BEGINNER ACTING- Taught By: SEAN GOGAN

MONDAY 3:00pm – 4:00pm (6/ Week Class)

This class teaches the basics of theater and acting. Throughout this course the 

participants  will learn theater vocabulary, stage direction, memorization, cold reading, what is a character and  how to create a character. Theater games are used to help the participant connect with the lesson being taught.  This class will help your child overcome shyness or anxiety and make them  more self confident on stage and in life. 

ACTING FOR KIDS- Taught By: SEAN GOGAN

WEDNESDAY 4:30pm – 5:30pm (6/ Week Class) 

VIRTUAL RATE: $100 (+ $2.00 service charge)

Designed to develop acting skills, focus, relaxation on stage and characterization. Students will learn through playing fun theatre games, doing improv, and rehearsal direction. Who am I? Where am I? What am I doing? What do I want?



Main Course Objectives:

1. To develop skills to ready the child for stage performance

2. To develop an understanding of the rehearsal process.   

3. To build self-awareness and confidence in performing and auditioning. 

4.  Introduction to Stanislavsky method of acting

AUDITION PREP CLASS- Taught By: KIM ENRIGHT

SATURDAY, JANUARY 9TH 10:00 A.M. TO 1:00 P.M.

VIRTUAL RATE: $100 (+ $2.00 service charge)

The audition class will focus on preparing students for their Bak theater audition. It will be based on the current audition criteria. This will include acting exercises, theater games, cold reading, prepared monologue, taking direction, creating a character vocally and physically, making character choices, voice and diction and being comfortable throughout the virtual audition process. The class will culminate in a mock audition.

MUSICAL THEATER DANCE AGES 6-12- Taught By: STARR NEEDRE

SATURDAY 10:30am – 11:30am (6/ Week Class)

VIRTUAL RATE: $100 (+ $2.00 service charge)



Musical theater classes are a fun active way for students to learn how to tell a story through movement! Classes begin with a warm-up, focusing on movement technique including jazz and ballet elements. This class is adaptable for different levels, and will focus on the musicality and drama within movement. Each class will conclude with learning choreography from different musicals such as Beauty and the Beast, Newsies, and Matilda! All the world’s a stage, so come create a dynamic performance from your own home in this exciting virtual musical theater class!
